Practice
My practice is rooted in connection: to the natural world, to the materials I choose to work with, and to people through my teaching and residency work.
I am curious by nature and aim to develop my practice as a maker, my growth as a human being, and my understanding of the world on an ongoing journey.
Through Arts Council of Wales-funded projects, gallery outreach programmes, Health Board commissions, masterclasses, and scholarships, I have continually developed and progressed my practice.
An important part of my practice is connecting with and inspiring the creativity of others, continually remind me of the power of art to nurture wellbeing, foster connection, and support healing, both in others and in myself.

Gardens of the Mind
The project allowed me to develop and further my practice by creating glass work concerned with investigating the visual and physical correlation between structures and micro-structures within plant and human biology.

Glan Clwyd Hospital
In 2019, I made a series of artworks for the NHS Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales. The artworks were created for several departments across Glan Clwyd Hospital, including Radiology and Maternity.

Mutualism
Exploring the beneficial symbioses between sea and land, humans and the natural environment, animal and plant forms, the making and sharing of my practice with others, relationships between makers, and the techniques of glass casting and pâte de verre.

Teaching
I achieved a First Class Honours degree in Architectural Glass/Applied Arts at NEWI in 2006 and became a fully qualified teacher after completing my PGCE at Liverpool John Moores University in 2009.
